Dr. Jessica January Behr is a Licensed Psychologist who specializes in work-related stress and relationship-related stress. She received her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology at Pace University’s Dyson School of Arts and Sciences. Psychodynamically trained with a patient-centered and eclectic therapeutic approach, Dr. Behr molds each treatment to the needs of the individual, integrating CBT, DBT and mindfulness techniques into traditional psychodynamic treatment when useful. She has experience in a number of clinical and health settings across New York City and has held adjunct professorships at Pace University, NYU, and CUNY.

Dr. Behr's goal is to help each individual to discover which aspects of their life and functioning are working well and which aspects need attention, care, and transformation. She focuses on exploring priorities and goals and developing an understanding of the self in relation to others and the world. With this understanding, skills and plans can be implemented to work towards satisfaction and purpose.
